THE CHINESE BRAND Haval has arrived in Australia with three SUVs, the compact H2 2WD/AWD, the large H8 AWD and the large H9 4WD.

The H9 is a seperate-chassis dual-range wagon with seven-occupant capacity and is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine developing 160kW of power and 324Nm of torque. Getting power to the ground in the H9 is a ZF six-speed automatic transmission and a Borg Warner torqueon- demand 4WD system. Two grades are offered for H9: the H9 Premium ($46,490, plus on-road costs) and the H9 LUX ($50,490, plus on-road costs).
