ASTON MARTIN’S forthcoming DB11 has been spotted all over Australia by smartphonewielding punters as it undergoes final validation testing ahead of its reveal at the Geneva Motor Show.
The long-awaited replacement for the 13-yearold DB9, the DB11 will use a twin-turbo 5.2-litre V12, which has been developed in-house, and places that in an updated version of Aston’s VH chassis architecture. For more details on the DB11 head over to motormag.com.au.
AUDI’S RS Q3 has only just had a power hike, but it’s now received another shot in the arm with the arrival of the ‘Performance’ model, which lifts the 2.5-litre turbo five-pot’s outputs to an RS3-matching 270kW/465Nm.
This drops the 0-100km/h sprint to just 4.4sec with a faintly ludicrous top speed of 270km/h for the compact cross-over.
It’ll land in Australia towards the end of 2016 with an expected price tag of around $90,000.
