BMW’s Z4 has dominated the first quarter after doubling its January sales.
The sudden spike in popularity comes with the brand’s new driveaway price on the base sDrive20i model.
A successor to the Z4, known as the Z5, has been spotted testing, but BMW has hinted it’s still some time away.
Bit of a slow start to the year for BMW’s eco-weapon the hybrid i8, but the blow’s been softened somewhat by stronger-than expected 2015 sales. Last year BMW sold 61 i8s, 11 more than it was hoping. Or could it be a case of $300K turning the i8 into a bit of a niche thing?
We hope not, as it’s a pretty awesome thing and deserves to do well.
