CONFUSION REIGNS

I am agnostic when it comes to the Ford versus Holden rivalry, being more of a European sports saloon man, myself.

However, I read the “Fist Fight” article (June ’16) with a passing interest, focusing in on the scores and verdict helpfully provided by the writer. As a result, I found this story confusing. The scores pointed to a fairly resounding victory for Holden. Now let’s go to the final section, “The Verdict”. At no point are the total scores even mentioned.

I think that the round five scores were actually printed the wrong way round, as the text clearly indicated that the Ford was preferred and yet it was scored lower. An entire page is allocated to excusing the Ford at the “The Strip” due to poor tire choice! I don’t really particularly care, but, all in all, this was a very deceptive analysis.
