IN REFERENCE to your article about a turboed and blown two-stroke Detroit Diesel (‘Detroit Diesel-Powered Hot Rod In The Build’, – thought you might like to see mine. It’s also a 453T, but it has twin turbos and twin blowers, making 320hp and 900ft-lb at the flywheel. It uses an Ingersoll Rand air starter to fire it up, and is backed by a twin-stick 20-speed tranny from a Mack truck.

The truck is an ’89 Chevy pick-up.
