A conventional hat set-up has its distribution block up above the port nozzles, so once you shut the engine off, fuel drains back into the blower. With the distribution block mounted on the side of the engine, the problem is solved, minimising the chance of a hydraulic lock. It also keeps your line lengths even and thus your port nozzles the same size, aiding tuning and assisting you in making even horsepower per cylinder.
