LOTUS has increased prices on its Exige by about $6000 and added more equipment. The previously optional Race Pack is now standard, bringing a dual-mode exhaust and launch control system. There are also two additional track-focused modes (four in total) as part of the Dynamic Performance Mode, which adjusts traction/stability control and throttle response.

The Exige also gets an automatic transmission for the first time. The Toyota-sourced six-speeder boosts performance too – acceleration to 100km/h is 0.1sec quicker than the manual, while the auto’s lap time around Lotus’s Hethel test track is claimed to be identical.
