THE increasing number of manufacturers who donít offer a manual gearbox, or offer one token manual as the price leader, makes me anxious and sad. If you want an upper-range, well-specced car with a manual, choices are becoming limited.
What fascinates me most is that many of these auto-only cars are available as manuals in other parts of the world. Why canít they be made available to us Aussies?
I think my next car choice will be a simple process of elimination.
