It’s all change for Subaru, with more gear for the Forester, Liberty and Outback.
Much of the focus is around active safety systems, with lane-change warning, blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic alert now on all but the base Libertys and Outbacks. Auto diesel Outbacks now come with EyeSight, which includes auto braking, while cars equipped with sat-nav also get three years of map updates. Prices on base models are unchanged while others increase by between $500 and $1500.
Forester changes revolve around mild styling updates – new grille, headlights and front bumper – and suspension tweaks to improve dynamics and refinement. Forester prices are unchanged.
