Confirmed: 527kW Jeep Trackhawk

Wheels broke the story last month, now Jeep has officially confirmed a Hellcat-powered Grand Cherokee will go on sale in 2017. Expected to be called the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, the performance-focused SUV will sit above the current Grand Cherokee SRT as one of the fastest SUVs on the market. Power will come from the most potent production V8 ever produced in the United States, a 6.2-litre supercharged V8, but it’s unclear if the Trackhawk will score the full 527kW fury that the blown V8 produces when fitted to the Dodge Charger and Challenger Hellcats.
