Holden blazing a new trail

As revealed two months ago by Wheels, Holden has dropped the Colorado 7 nameplate in favour of Trailblazer to separate it from the Colorado ute on which it is based. The heavily revised version, shown with Chevrolet badges, is due in Australia in September. Key to the updates will be extensive e ve local engineering designed to improve the driving experience. Under the bonnet, expect an upgraded version of the 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. Holden could also offer a rear-wheel-drive version, as expected soon on the rival Ford Everest. loca driv upg tur rea r
