BMW has expanded its M3/M4 family with the addition of a Competition pack that ups power from 317kW to 331kW. As well as software updates, the Competition models get a beefier sports exhaust system. Acceleration has improved slightly, with the claimed 0-100km/h sprint taking just 4.0 seconds.
BMW has also tweaked the suspension on the Competition models, with revised springs, dampers and anti-roll bars.
Competition models bring a circa-$5000 premium over the regular M3, M4 Coupe and M4 Convertibles that remain on sale alongside them.
