As it awaits the Giulia – a car it believes will change the luxury game – Alfa Romeo has sharpened the smaller (and much older) Giulietta. Key to the tweaks are mild styling updates, new model names, including Super and Veloce, and a revised logo.
The base manual-only Super gets a new 110kW tune of the 1.4-litre turbo four.
The Super TCT picks up a twinclutch auto and the familiar 125kW tune of the same engine.
The TCT also ups the manual’s 16-inch wheels to 17s and adds front parking sensors.
The Veloce gets a revised 177kW version of the 1.7-litre fourcylinder to go with more fruit, including 18-inch alloys, leather, a rear diffuser and a flat-bottomed steering wheel. Still no reversing camera, though.
