One of the major things you did not really explain in your November 2016 edition is how far you could modify your Ford on the assembly line.
In the time of the XA Falcon, I was in Longreach and a local grazier ordered a yellow Fairlane to his specs. Included was a manual gearbox, LSD, GT suspension and a 351 V8 with performance headers and a heavy-duty radiator . Basically y y y a Fairlane GT. I doubt you could do that today.
