911 done to a T

Porsche has unveiled a lighter, puristís version of its 911, called the 911T, a model paying tribute to the 1967 original.

The new variant strips out the infotainment unit, rear seats and a heap of sound deadening, which, spec-for-spec, amounts to a weight saving of 20kg. Thereís no extra power, but the 272kW 911T does feature a short-shifting manual gearbox, active suspension and torque vectoring. The price? Youíll need to square away $238,400.
