The addition of a new RS spec takes the newly facelifted Honda HR-V line-up to four variants. Starting at $24,990 for the VTi-L, the HR-V runs to $34,590 for the top-spec VTi-LX, with Honda’s City-Brake Active System now standard across the range. The $31,990 RS, like the other variants, is powered by a 1.8-litre four with a CVT auto and front drive – the sole driver-oriented upgrade is new variable-ratio steering. Visually, The RS gets 18-inch alloys, a black chrome grille and honeycomb lower grille and fog garnish, black mirror caps, and a piano black body kit. Inside, there are leather-appointed seats (heated in the front), a leather steering wheel and gear knob, and sports pedals.
